A PIONEERING drone from 3-D Robotics has captured Sydney’s
most iconic locations from the sky in a sequence of exceptional photographs.
The $2000 3DR Solo, launched on the metropolis’s harbour
earlier this month, can fly on its own, following a route pre-programmed
through the consumer to capture 360-diploma photos.
It comes with a GoPro digital camera stabilised with a
rotating help called a “gimbal”, and can stream stay HD video to an Android or
iOS device. It also has a pause button which can prevent the drone in midair.
