Printer clients have become increasingly more worried
approximately the network safety in their machines and the developing
information levels, HP stated this week.
"the amount of data is growing so substantially within
the business enterprise area that IT managers have a in reality tough time
managing it," said Jan Reicher, vp of HP's go to market unit.
"the amount of facts is doubling every 18 or 24 months,
which gives some concept of the importance of what is going on in those
groups."
in addition to the rise in data usage, clients are also
worried about the safety issues raised through community printing.
"security is an issue on multiple degrees: security for
the hardware, security for the files and security for the information,"
stated Bruce Dahlgren, senior vice president of world enterprise sales at HP's
Imaging and Printing group.
Reicher agreed that security is now one of the top concerns
for customers. or 3 years ago the
worries were about security for the printer itself due to its storage abilties.
however the trouble now is that gadgets are connected to the
community, elevating worries about the security of the community and the
records on it.
