TWITTER has faced a massive backlash from users over
suggestions it was going to arrange the order of tweets primarily based on
significance as opposed to the strict chronological order currently used.
while customers caught wind of Twitter’s plans to put in
force the algorithmic timeline, which would operate much like facebook, the
hashtag #RIPTwitter started out trending globally.
It was believed the social community could put in force the
change as early as next week in an try to appeal to users to the platform.
but, following the backlash Twitter chief government Jack
Dorsey took to the social media web site to address issues in a number of
tweets.
“howdy Twitter! regarding #RIPTwitter: I need you all to
recognise we’re constantly listening,” wrote Dorsey at the start of a rare
tweetstorm. “We never deliberate to reorder timelines subsequent week,” he
wrote.
